Fox Anchor Grills Hillary Surrogate over Emails: Doesn’t She ‘Have Herself to Blame?’

Fox News Sunday guest anchor Shannon Bream grilled Hillary Clinton surrogate and former congresswoman Ellen Tauscher over Hillary Clinton‘s email controversy. She asked, “Does she haver herself to blame for being in this position?”

Tauscher insisted that whatever may have happened doesn’t put the onus on Clinton, saying that people can “quibble about whether things should be reclassified,” but they weren’t classified when Clinton received them.

Bream pointed out that two inspectors general said there were classified emails on her server and highlighted one email in particular as an example.

She kept pressing Tauscher, and while she admitted “mistakes were made,” she shot back, “If we’re gonna cherry-pick, let’s stay with the cherry tree.” Tauscher argued this is completely different from similar cases the government’s dealt with.
