Fox Anchor: The Media Covers White Nationalists But Not ‘Progressive Extremists’

Fox News’ Doug McKelway, filling in on Special Report for Bret Baier tonight, pointed out how the media only highlights the disturbing actions of political extremists on just one side of the aisle.

McKelway and Chris Stirewalt discussed the recent white nationalist conference where people assembled did the Nazi salute and said “Hail Trump.” One of the main speakers even questioned whether Jews are people.

Stirewalt said that the media is clearly propping up these people to further hurt Trump, to an extent, but it has the unintended consequence of “normalizing” the horrible conduct being engaged in in settings like those.

McKelway then made this observation:

“Where’s the coverage of every progressive extremist who issued death threats, praised Stalin or Mao, or who carried a protest sign that read ‘Bush Hitler’… We did not see too much coverage of that”
