Fox & Friends Did Not Like Hillary’s Grammys Appearance: Should Have Read From ‘Clinton Cash’

The hosts of Fox & Friends reacted to Sunday night’s Grammys with disdain, bashing the award show for its bevy of “millionaires who are complaining,” and for featuring Hillary Clinton reading from Michael Wolff’s controversial tell-all.

Clinton made a surprise appearance in a video skit at the James Corden-hosted event, reading a passage on President Donald Trump’s eating habits from Wolff’s Fire and Fury.

Safe to say, Fox & Friends was not amused. After noting some of the social media reaction to the skit — U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley tweeted “Don’t ruin great music with trash,” and armchair pundit Donald Trump Jr. mocked Clinton for losing the election to his dad — host Ainsley Earhardt went on a tear against the politicized awards show.

After agreeing with Haley’s sentiment, Earhardt said: “Every time there was something political I just rolled my eyes. Everyone know what Hollywood thinks, it’s a given. And you know when you watch award shows you do just want to see the music. You don’t want them to get into politics and they always do.”

“I think it only just helps Donald Trump and his campaign and his base because people look at those millionaires who are complaining and they saying they’re not in touch with what’s going on,” she added.

“They’re complaining because Donald Trump won,” Brian Kilmeade declared, before quipping that “it would have been more interesting if she had picked up a copy of Shattered, and read that out loud, or Clinton Cash.”

“So anyway, big night for music here in New York City, it was political, but congratulations Bruno Mars, we know you’re watching,” Steve Doocy said.

“More people are talking about the Super Bowl though, than they are the Grammys,” Earhardt concluded.
