Fox Hosts Defend Trump on KKK Flap: ‘Making Something Out of Nothing’

the fiveA few of the hosts on Fox’s The Five today came to Donald Trump‘s defense on the KKK controversy by blaming the liberal media for making this a big issue in the first place.

Jesse Watters pointed out that the late Democratic senator Robert Byrd used to be in the KKK, and Hillary Clinton wanted his endorsement. He also pointed out that President Obama was a member of Reverend Wright’s church and “I don’t think [Trump] sat in David Duke‘s pews.”

He said the media buries such endorsements when they happen on the left.

Eric Bolling added, “CNN, they kept going after it, they kept going after it… Does anyone––did CNN hold anyone else to that standard?”

Kimberly Guilfoyle blamed CNN too, saying they’re “struggling” and “trying to be in the top spot… trying to make something out of nothing.” She said it’s pretty transparent what they were doing.
