Fox Tops Wisconsin Coverage in Total Ratings; CNN #1 in the Demo

 

Fox-CNNCNN and Fox News both scored big wins last night during Wisconsin primary coverage.

From 8-11 pm EST, Fox averaged 3.02 million total viewers, easily beating out CNN (1.90 million) and MSNBC (1.48 million). But in the 25-54 demographic, CNN took the #1 spot with 650K viewers to Fox’s 601K and MSNBC’s 378K.

Fox News reached its peak during the 9 pm hour, co-anchored by Bret Baier and Megyn Kelly, with 3.3 million total viewers and 658K in the demo.

During its entire live coverage block (7 pm to 2 am), CNN ended up with an average of 451K viewers in the 25-54 demo to 442K for Fox and 296K for CNN. Overall, though, Fox News still averaged far more total viewers than CNN in that same timespan.
