Fox’s Shannon Bream to Dem Rep: Isn’t There ‘Ethical Issue’ in Lynch/Clinton Meeting?

Shannon Bream, filling in on Fox News Sunday today, grilled a potential Hillary Clinton veep candidate on whether there’s an “ethical issue” in the meeting between Bill Clinton and Loretta Lynch.

Bream said this “could go beyond PR” as far as problems go, but Congressman Xavier Becerra said that Lynch’s “integrity is not even in question.”

Bream pointed out how “confusing” it is for Lynch to both say she’ll accept the FBI’s recommendation but also she’s the ultimate decider. She asked why not just bring in a special prosecutor.

Becerra said that this one plane meeting “doesn’t mean that you have to throw the investigation away.”

Bream also pointed out this could present a problem for the investigation into the Clinton Foundation.
