Glenn Beck’s Demo Rating Beats Competition’s Total Viewers
Cable news ratings, October 1, 2009: Check out the highlights, and see the full ratings below:
• Glenn Beck was the #2 cable news show last night in the A25-54 demographic and total viewers (Bill O’Reilly was #1). But Beck achieved something rare – he had more demo viewers (719,000) than his 5pmET competition had total viewers. CNN had 657,000 total viewers, MSNBC 576,000 and HLN 301,000.
• The top non-FNC show last night was CNN’s Larry King Live at 9pmET in both categories. Must be the power of Jon Gosselin.
