Graham on Trump ‘Genius’ Tweet: If He Doesn’t Call Himself That, ‘Nobody Else Will’

Senator Lindsey Graham appeared on The View this morning and waded into the debate about President Trump being a “very stable genius.”

Graham first joked, “If he doesn’t call himself a genius, nobody else will.”

He went on to give Trump credit for “beat[ing] me like a drum,” along with Hillary Clinton and all the other Republicans who ran.

The Republican senator noted how he called Trump a “xenophobic, race-baiting religious bigot,” but then he won the election.

He did clarify that this was during the campaign and said, “I don’t think he’s a xenophobic, race-baiting religious bigot as President.” He also told the co-hosts and Trump is doing a “really good job on multiple fronts.”
