‘How Ridiculous!’: Morning Joe Bashes Grimes for Non-Answer on Obama Vote

During the Kentucky U.S. Senate debate Monday evening, Democratic candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes once again refused to answer whether she has voted for President Barack Obama. The Morning Joe crew took notice and promptly mocked the Mitch McConnell challenger for such “ridiculous” non-answers.

When asked whether she voted for the president in his national elections, Grimes told the moderator that she will continue to abstain from answering because she does not want to “compromise the constitutional right [to privacy at the ballot box].”

“God, that is so ridiculous,” an astonished Joe Scarborough said Tuesday morning. Panelists Mike Barnicle and Mark Halperin, along with co-host Mika Brzezinski, all shared similar thoughts about Grimes’ non-answer.

This isn’t the first time the Morning Joe crew has mocked Grimes for her refusal to attach herself to the president.
