‘I Know What Romance Looks Like’: Fox News Hosts Slams Fani Willis Over Relationship With Fellow Trump Prosecutor

Fox News hosts on Outnumbered slammed Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis over her relationship with a lawyer hired to work on former President Donald Trump’s prosecution.

Willis was subpoenaed earlier this week in an ongoing divorce case for prosecutor Nathan Wade, an outside lawyer hired by Willis. Trump’s co-defendants have accused the pair of having an improper romantic relationship.

The attorneys also reportedly met with White House officials in two separate eight-hour meetings prior to filing racketeering charges against the Republican frontrunner. Previously, the White House has repeatedly denied coordinating with the DA’s prosecution of Trump.

The Wednesday panel on Outnumbered reacted to the new details with Raymond Arroyo claiming Willis’ actions “looks like racketeering with a side of adultery.”

“Fani Willis and Nathan Wade, these people, they didn’t only travel to D.C. They go to Napa Valley. They’re on cruises together. She paid him $675,000,” Arroyo noted before his colleague Harris Faulkner added, “Oh, I know what romance looks like.”

Arroyo continued, “Fani Willis was supposed to get the Fulton Board of Commissioners to review the contract for this prosecutor. According to this lawsuit, she never did. She did this on her own authority. So it does taint the whole thing. She charging Trump with racketeering. This looks like racketeering with a side of adultery.”

Emily Compagno agreed and added that the divorce proceedings for Wade should be unsealed to evaluate “validity” of the prosecution against Trump.

COMPAGNO: In layman’s terms, essentially, this divorce proceeding includes a lot of evidence, potentially, and a lot of information that would help clear up the nature of their relationship and the extent to which public funds were used. Now, at this moment, however, it’s sealed. You can’t view it as a member of the public. But the allegations are procedure was broken, so it’s improperly sealed, which means let it open, let the sunshine in, and then let the analysis truly begin of the validity then of the indictment against Trump.
