‘I’m Not Interested’: Meghan McCain Clashes With Joy Behar for Bringing Up Trump in Segment on Bush

The View‘s opener on the passing of George H.W. Bush got a little heated when Joy Behar brought up the current president.

The hosts paid tribute to Bush and at the start Whoopi Goldberg only alluded to President Donald Trump with a reference to contrasts between Bush’s leadership and his.

Meghan McCain heralded Bush’s long life and dedication to public service, as well as the humility he showed in office.

At one point, Behar brought up Bush’s record on global warming before invoking Trump:

“This president that we have now is trying to unravel everything that he did and Obama did, and if I ever become a one-issue voter, it will be about pollution and the greenhouse effect…”

McCain immediately jumped in to ask, “Can we focus on the president, please? I don’t want to talk about Trump.”

Things got a little heated between them, as McCain said she’s “not interested” in her one-issue voting criteria and Behar shot back, “I don’t care what you’re interested in!”

As they fought Goldberg immediately jumped in to take a commercial break.
