Is This the ‘Greatest’ Red Eye Ending ‘Ever’?

Among the many reasons Fox’s Red Eye has developed such a cult following are its irreverent late-night humor and its occasional surrealism. The conclusion to a segment discussing Justin Bieber‘s possible sizzurp habits combined both of those elements in a way you don’t ever see on cable news.

For context: The Red Eye panel discussed the various drugs found in Bieber’s mansion, which eventually led to Andy Levy and host Greg Gutfeld having a personal discussion about how young men occasionally struggle with a “downward spiral” of alcohol and drugs.

And then came the Shyamalan-like twist ending, which Gutfeld himself boasted as the show’s best-ever:
