Jindal Mocks Hillary’s Stonewalling: ‘You Can Ask Me Your Questions Directly’
Republican presidential candidate Bobby Jindal opened his interview Tuesday morning on MSNBC’s Morning Joe by mocking Hillary Clinton’s refusal to answer a direct question from Bloomberg’s Mark Halperin, which forced him to recruit a proxy to ask the question.
The hosts of Morning Joe had shown the video immediately before the interview. “He’s not going to be so tough, he’ll answer our questions,” Mika Brzezinski joked while introducing the Louisiana governor.
Jindal took the joke and ran with it. “You’re exactly right,” he said. “You can ask me your questions directly. You don’t have to go through an intermediary.”
“I hope Mark actually compensated that woman,” he continued as Brzezinski chuckled. “I hope he actually at least bought her a cup or coffee or something for helping him get his job done.”
