Joan Rivers Jokes That Sarah Palin ‘Is A Nazi’ And Bristol ‘Couldn’t Dance At All’

Comedian Joan Rivers appeared with her daughter Melissa on The Joy Behar Show last night to promote her new show Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best? on the WE Network. Besides defending comedian Ricky Gervais, Joan really wanted to discuss her current “feud” with Sarah Palin.

Joan said she was “uninvited” for an appearance on Fox and Friends, which she now lovingly calls “Fox and Former Friends.” Melissa claimed the reason was because Joan commented “I don’t think Sarah Palin is very smart.” However, as reported yesterday, Joan’s comments were just a bit more colorful than that, and also Fox’s response was that Rivers is not banned, but was meant to be rescheduled. When Behar asked why this occurred and is it just because Palin is a Fox contributor, Rivers jokingly offered her theory, “I guess – she’s a Nazi, I don’t know.”

The always risky Rivers had only one regret about the whole incident: voting “for [Palin’s] stupid daughter [on Dancing with the Stars] who couldn’t dance at all – because I felt sorry for her. I should have voted for David Hasselhoff, because he was sober.” Given that Joan vowed never to retire, these jabs at Palin are likely to continue until Melissa pulls the plug on her mom, which Joan joked is likely to happen at any moment.
