Jon Stewart Tackles Chris Christie’s ‘Pig Problem’ (No, Not What You’re Thinking)
Jon Stewart opened tonight’s Daily Show tackling Chris Christie‘s “pig problem.” (And good God, no, it is not what you’re thinking…)
See, Christie is expected to veto a bill that would ban gestation crates for pigs. Stewart mockingly defended the practice, because it’s “easier to keep them in these tiny confined boxed like shoes that are alive and can feel pain.”
Stewart brought on new correspondent Hasan Minhaj to argue against the bill, and Jordan Klepper to argue for it. Minhaj made some very poetic arguments about the treatment of animals. Klepper argued that he just wants his pig facing one direction. Period.
