Josh Earnest Accidentally (?) Calls Biden a Candidate

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest may have let something slip when he referred to Vice President Joe Biden as a “candidate” during today’s press briefing.

A Biden decision on 2016 is expected some time this week, and with all the speculation surrounding the veep, Earnest calling him a candidate got some attention today.

Earnest spoke somewhat hypothetically about Biden getting into the race, but after calling him a candidate, a reporter asked him if he knows something the rest of us don’t.

Earnest quickly clarified he meant “potential candidate.”

Suuuure…
