Kellyanne Conway: Democrats Are Engaging in ‘Show Trials’ at Confirmations

Kellyanne Conway briefly spoke to the press outside of the venue for tonight’s pre-inauguration dinner in Washington DC.

She previewed Trump’s “elegant, beautiful, powerful speech” and said that people will recognize a lot of what Trump put into it.

Conway then expressed her concerns about the “glacial pace of the confirmation process” and said that as opposed to a smooth transition in 2001, Democrats are engaging in “show trials” in the confirmation process, possibly to “humiliate” Trump’s nominees.
