Loretta Lynch: ‘Our Most Effective Response to Terror’ Is Compassion and Love
Yesterday, as Attorney General Loretta Lynch talked about Orlando, she sent a very personal message to the LGBT community about standing together in the face of terrorism.
She sent a clear signal to anyone concerned about the homophobic implications of the attack that the DOJ and the U.S. government “stands with you.”
“Our most effective response to terror and to hatred,” Lynch said, “is compassion, it’s unity, and it’s love.”
Well, Lynch’s comment there has sparked a ton of outrage on the right, and one Republican congressman is calling for her resignation:
