Maher: Clinton Can’t Just ‘Lecture Us’ After Terrorist Attacks

Bill Maher said tonight he worried about Democrats when it comes to terrorism because of how they respond to attacks like in New York last weekend.

He said Donald Trump‘s appeal is understandable on this issue because of his “paranoid lunacy aimed at dumbasses,” while Hillary Clinton “seems to lecture us on how to be a better person” in talking about Trump’s dangerous rhetoric fueling America’s enemies.

What’s missing there, he said, is her actual policy prescriptions for how to combat terrorism.

Major Clinton backer Neera Tanden said that people don’t want “chaos,” while Lanhee Chen said people view Trump as more a “truth teller” than a “chaos candidate.”

Maher did note that’s a ridiculous assumption because “he’s the biggest liar ever.”
