Man Pranks Station’s UCLA Flood Coverage: ‘Someone Took a Really Large Dump’

When someone insists on being called “Louis Slung-Poo,” you have to know something is up. But that was not enough to tip off the anchors on Los Angeles’ ABC affiliate, who thought they were speaking to a spokesperson from the department of water and power Tuesday afternoon as a water main break dumped an estimated eight to 10 gallons of water all over UCLA’s campus.
ABC identified the man as Louis Slungpue, and once they had him on the phone he “broke” the news that it may have been a “cherry bomb” dropped down a toilet by students at the university that caused the massive loss of water in a state desperately in need of rain. “It was either a cherry bomb or someone took a really large dump, you know?” he said.
“Are you 100% sure about that?” the female anchor asked sincerely, before someone cut off the caller and informed her that it was a prank call. “Oh, we lost him, I’m sorry about that,” she added.
