Michael Steele Is Back! Breaks Down Pres. Obama’s Speeches, Midterm Chances

Look who’s back on TV today! Although GOP Chairman Michael Steele is occasionally on Fox News’ prime time shows, he very rarely makes a hard news stop these days (after a couple comments that got negative attention).

He talked to FNC anchor Jenna Lee this afternoon about Pres. Obama’s economic speeches, survey’s the GOP midterm chances and more.

After a nuts and bolts discussion about what Pres. Obama is doing and what the Republicans would do differently. Then, Lee brought in a clip of Steele from earlier this year when he raised doubts over the possibility that the GOP could take back the House, and questioned whether they were ready. Now, he says, “I believe we are.”

Lee pressed if he’d make a guarantee. “I can’t guarantee anything, only the American people can do that with their vote,” he said.

Steele also deflected questions over the critics in his own party and whether he’d run for GOP Chairman again in January.
