Mitt Romney On Obama: ‘I Think The Citizenship Test Has Been Passed’
Likely Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney appeared with Larry Kudlow and welcomed Donald Trump to the race for President, saying “the more the merrier.” However, Romney didn’t agree with Trump’s campaign strategy, instead lining up with some who would prefer to put questions about President Obama’s birth certificate to rest.
When asked about Trump’s obsession with questioning President Obama’s citizenship, Romney declared:
“I think the citizenship test has been passed. I believe the President was born in the United States and there are real reasons to get this guy out of office.”
Romney suggested Obama doesn’t understand the economy and is incapable of creating jobs. Romney is tough with his critique of Obama’s policies, but some think that such a traditional tactic will not be able to successfully compete against the “crazy.”
