MSNBC’s Michael Eric Dyson: Palin’s Impeachment Calls Are ‘Treasonous Accusations’
Michael Eric Dyson filled in for Ed Schultz on his MSNBC show yesterday, and in the first few minutes he went after Sarah Palin‘s impeachment talk, calling her charges “treasonous accusations.” Dyson went after the right for going after President Obama with rather strong rhetoric, but zoned in on Palin particularly.
After playing her remarks making the case for impeachment, Dyson took a shot at her by saying “Sarah Palin’s premature evacuation from the governor’s seat eliminated any of her political credibility.” He also warned that there are people who actually listen to what Palin has to say, with far more power and influence than her.
National Review‘s Andrew Johnson points out that Dyson was a co-signer of a letter titled “The Call to Drive Out the Bush Regime.” The letter declares that George W. Bush must be “driven from office,” though it does not specifically call for impeachment.
