Nancy Pelosi Downplays Impeachment Talk: ‘Not Someplace That I Think We Should Go’

Tom Steyer‘s big new ad campaign has put impeachment back in the news, but the top House Democrat really doesn’t think this should be a party priority right now.

On CNN’s State of the Union, Nancy Pelosi told Jake Tapper “you can’t go down any path without the facts and the law” and they will see what happens.

She noted liberals are still “annoyed” she didn’t push for impeachment of George W. Bush over Iraq, saying of Trump that Democrats should “let the chips fall where they may, but it’s not someplace that I think we should go.”
