O’Reilly Pins San Francisco Woman’s Death on Mayor; Obama ‘Complicit’

Bill O’Reilly tonight went to bat for Donald Trump, arguing that he’s been unfairly vilified for raising an important point about crime on the border. As far as O’Reilly’s concerned, Trump’s biggest mistake was lacking any sort of nuance or clarifying that “it’s not ordinary Mexicans doing the raping, it’s the gangsters.”

O’Reilly then turned to the death of San Francisco woman Kate Steinle after being shot by Francisco Sanchez, an illegal immigrant who was previously deported multiple times, but returned to San Francisco because it’s what’s called a “sanctuary city” (cities that don’t follow federal law on illegal immigration). Trump touted the situation as evidence that he’s right, but O’Reilly went a few steps further.

He brought up how the federal government did nothing after San Francisco decided to become a sanctuary city, and declared, “The mayor and city supervisors of San Francisco are directly responsible for the murder of Kate Steinle, and the Obama administration is complicit.”

He concluded by saying he’s “disgusted with the cowardice of our elected officials” and noting that Trump actually had a point.
