O’Reilly Supports Trump’s Media Blacklist: ‘If Someone Is Being Dishonest…’

bill2You’re not going to find many people in the mainstream media defending Donald Trump‘s media blacklist. Even some conservatives in the media are alarmed by it. But Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly doesn’t see a problem with it.

Conservative writer and Townhall editor Katie Pavlich, who recently defended Trump from the media pile-on over “Second Amendment people” (more on that from O’Reilly here), told him tonight that Trump shouldn’t be banning news outlets who report unfavorably on him.

O’Reilly said, “I don’t know why. If somebody is really being dishonest, I’d strip them too.”

He said Trump can do whatever he wants to if he thinks they’re being unfair, and he even went so far as to be encouraged by the thought of Trump banning certain outlets from the briefing room if he’s president.

As a reminder, back in May, O’Reilly criticized Hillary Clinton for avoiding Fox News, arguing that she should be getting tough questions and not limiting herself to “sympathetic journalists.”
