O’Reilly: Why Does Anyone Care What Trump’s Position on Iraq Is?

Donald Trump has made some curious claims that he strongly opposed the Iraq War from the start (even though his comments at the time were mildly skeptical at best), but Bill O’Reilly isn’t sure why anyone cares.

He asked Frank Luntz tonight, “Is it possible that no one cares about whether Donald Trump thought the Iraq war run-up––I don’t care. I mean, I don’t know why anybody would care at this juncture in history. So what?”

Luntz agreed and said that people are more interested in the candidates’ policies for the future.

“I know Trump,” O’Reilly said. “Trump didn’t like that war. He didn’t like it. And so I can tell you, that’s firsthand experience.”
