Outnumbered Hosts Knock Devin Nunes for ‘Thin-Skinned’ Response to Being Mocked by Colbert

Some of the hosts on Fox News’ Outnumbered today discussed whether Devin Nunes‘ response to Stephen Colbert was a bit much.

Colbert recently went to Capitol Hill and distributed his own “memo” reading, “Devin Nunes is a [REDACTED].” NUnes responded by calling this a clear example of Hollywood’s commitment to attacking Republicans.

“Without a doubt, conservatives are under attack,” Trish Regan said. “But, Brian, he didn’t have to go and do the Stephen Colbert show.”

Kilmeade said Nunes made a solid point and argued Colbert may not even be on the air right now “if he didn’t decide to turn his bazooka on Donald Trump every single night for 20 minutes in a monologue.”

Kennedy weighed in and said, “I think Nunes is being a little thin-skinned. I think it diminishes his place in this entire conversation when he responds to Colbert.”

It’s no surprise, she added, that “universities are controlled by communists” and the media leans left. But she added, “Do your job! Have a good message. Sell your plan. And people will vote following the logic. And I don’t think Nunes has to respond the way he did to Colbert.”
