Rep. Bachmann Calls CNN’s Piers Morgan ‘Rude’ During Tense Segment

Former Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann got into a tête-à-tête with CNN’s Piers Morgan after the anchor referred to her as being judgmental. “I am not here as anybody’s judge!” Bachmann exclaimed. “Well you’ve been pretty judgmental in the past, come on!” Morgan retorted.

Me?! Hardly! Hardly! Hardly!” Bachmann responded incredulously. “Well that’s rude! That’s absolutely rude!”

“I’m not a judgmental person!” Bachmann added.

Really?!” Morgan perplexedly gasped. “I’m not being rude, but you’ve been very, very outspoken.”

“I believe in traditional values,” the Congresswoman argued. “I believe in marriage between a man and a woman and I don’t think that’s bigoted.”

Morgan proceeded to read one of her quotes from 2004, saying that being gay “leads to the personal enslavement of individuals. Because if you’re involved in the gay and lesbian lifestyle, it’s bondage.”

“That’s fairly judgmental, isn’t it?” Morgan pressed.

“I’m not here as anybody’s judge,” Bachmann countered.
