Rob Reiner Blasts Trump at Women’s March: ‘We Have a Racist in the White House!’

This weekend represented the one-year anniversary of the Women’s March that essentially jump-started and mobilized the Resistance movement. Today, marches and rallies were held in cities across the country to commemorate and honor that event, and thousands of women showed up around the nation.

At the Los Angeles rally, actor and director Rob Reiner took to the stage and absolutely tore into President Donald Trump. Reiner, who has been outspoken in his criticism of the president, had the following to say about the current White House occupant:

“We were all here a year ago for many different reasons. But one of the unifying reasons was we were scared. We were scared of who was going to enter the White House. A year has gone by. And he has corroborated every one of our fears. And we cannot white wash this anymore. We have a racist in the White House. We have a sexist in the White House. We have a pathological liar in the White House. And he is tearing away at the fabric of our democracy. And when we all came together last time, we had the power. And it’s the women, the women have given us the power. And the women continue to give us the power.”

Reiner appeared on Laura Ingraham’s Fox News program Friday evening and ended up sparring with the conservative host over whether or not the president is a racist. While Ingraham declared that Trump is “absolutely not” racist, Reiner pointed to the president’s history of inflammatory comments and actions as a basis for his conclusion.
