Sanders Gets Testy with Hillary During Debate Fight: ‘Excuse Me, I’m Talking!’

hillary bernieBernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton got into a fierce back-and-forth during tonight’s CNN Flint debate, with both of them snapping at each other during the fight.

Sanders attacked Clinton for supporting “disastrous trade agreements” and being too cozy with Wall Street, while––being in Michigan––Clinton attacked Sanders for opposing the auto bailout.

Sanders said, “If you are talking about the Wall Street bailout where some of your friends destroyed this economy…”

Clinton jumped in to say, “You know…” Sanders said, “Excuse me, I’m talking!”

He went on to argue that he wanted billionaires responsible for the economic crisis to bail themselves out and not punish American taxpayers.

Clinton kept attacking him on the issue, saying that “if everyone had voted the way he did, I believe the auto industry would have collapsed, taking four million jobs with it.”

Sanders pivoted to going after Clinton on her Wall Street ties and secret speeches to Goldman Sachs. Clinton rebutted Sanders’ implication that she was bought off and said, “Let’s have some facts instead of rhetoric for a change.”
