Scarborough Dismisses Obama’s Iraq War Opposition: ‘Blah Blah Blah’

Given former Florida Governor Jeb Bush’s concession yesterday to Megyn Kelly that he, too, would have invaded Iraq as his brother did, a Morning Joe panel reaffirmed the importance of then-State Senator Barack Obama’s unreconstructed opposition the war, to which host Joe Scarborough countered: “blah blah blah blah blah.”

“[Obama] wasn’t in Washington, he was actually in a small state senate district,” Scarborough said. “It was in his political advantage to be against the war where he was running. So please. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.”

“Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah,” Scarborough added.

Scarborough said that Jeb Bush was one of the smartest and most “cerebral” politicians he’d ever met.
