Sean Spicer Touts Accomplishments in First 100 Days, But Adds That It’s ‘Artificial’ Benchmark

CBS’ Major Garrett asked White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer today about the first 100 days benchmark and whether President Trump is pleased with how much he’s been able to get done in that amount of time.

And Spicer, while touting all the things the Trump administration has gotten done in the first 100 days, added that the press should keep this in context because it’s just an “artificial number” and they have a whole four years at least to get more done.

The president himself tweeted about the first 100 days being a “ridiculous standard” even though he released a complete outline of pledges for his first 100 days during the campaign.

Trump’s 100th day is this Saturday and, naturally, Spicer got several questions about how much they’ve been able to get done up to this point.
