Seb Gorka: ‘Direct Line’ Between Jim Acosta’s Behavior and Tucker Carlson Protest

Former White House official and Fox News contributor Seb Gorka claimed there’s a “direct line” between CNN reporter Jim Acosta’s “behavior” at President Donald Trump’s post-midterms presser and the anti-fascist protest staged outside of Tucker Carlson’s house.

Gorka’s comments, which were made on Sean Hannity’s show last night, precluded the host’s attacks on MSNBC host Rachel Maddow.

“Now, we have over at a conspiracy TV MSNBC, Rachel Maddow is now encouraging people to go out and protest today, part of an MoveOn.org effort that is a general betray us,” said the pundit known for boosting the Seth Rich-DNC murder conspiracy. “This is the network Tom Brokaw is proud of? This person, Rachel Maddow, claiming she was a news person, really?”

Ironically, Hannity himself has a history of calling himself a journalist, just to refer to himself as an opinion host when critics suggest his show is pro-Trump propaganda.

“She is not a news person, Sean, there is a direct line between Jim Acosta’s behavior at that press conference and what happened at our friend is Tucker’s house,” Gorka responded, referencing the group of a couple dozen anti-fascist protesters who gathered at Carlson’s Washington, D.C. home on Wednesday night. “These people are repeatedly crossing the line of what is acceptable.”

He continued:

“Whether you are a reporter in the White House or whether you are a demonstrator in D.C., they are undermining or they are broadening what is called the Overton window, meaning the list of things that are deemed acceptable. This behavior — Jim Acosta’s behavior — the behavior at Tucker’s house, would have been deemed absolutely.”

Hannity and Gorka went on to tie Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters of California to the protest, as she has made comments in the past encouraging progressive activists to protest Republicans in person.
