Steve King: Putin’s Been Stronger Leader for Russia Than Obama’s Been for Us

During last night’s NBC Commander-in-Chief forum, Donald Trump shocked many with his remarks praising Vladimir Putin and saying he’s a better leader than President Obama. But he’s not the only Republican who thinks this.

On MSNBC today, Hallie Jackson asked Congressman Steve King if he believes Putin is a “better leader for Russians than President Obama is for Americans.”

King said yes he does.

He said that Russian “hyper-nationalism” has increased thanks to things like the Sochi Olympics.

When Jackson pointed out Russia’s human rights abuses, King said “it’s still Russia” and said Obama still looks weak by comparison.
