Tapper: Trump’s Attacks on Machado ‘More Than Hillary Clinton Could Have Ever Dreamed’

CNN’s Jake Tapper opened his show today by saying, “Like a moth flying straight into a bright yellow lightbulb, the Republian presidential nominee appears unable to get away from the hazy glow of Twitter for Android.”

Tapper brought up Trump’s latest attacks on former Miss Universe Alicia Machado and how he took the “bait” that was carefully planted by the Hillary Clinton campaign.

But instead of just “biting,” Tapper said, “the fact that Donald Trump was up in the middle of the night fuming over this woman, telling voters to check out her sex tape… this was more than Hillary Clinton could have ever dreamed.”

Earlier in the day, Tapper offered Trump some advice:
