Tea Party Head Slams Reid on CNN: It’s His Shutdown, He’s ‘Acting Like a Spoiled Brat’!

In the immediate aftermath of the government shutting down, Piers Morgan wanted to know exactly how the tea party feels, and so brought on Tea Party Express head Amy Kremer to confront her about how this all worked out. Kremer told Morgan the real instigator here is Harry Reid, blaming him for refusing to budge and inch and causing the government shutdown.

Morgan sarcastically intoned, “Right, so it’s entirely the Democrats’ fault that a bunch of Republicans tried to defund Obamacare.” Kremer blamed Reid, saying he’s “acting like a spoiled brat crossing his arms.” In the immediate aftermath of the shutdown, Reid blamed tea party “anarchists” for the shutdown.

Morgan sighed and explained it was debated, passed, and upheld, not to mention the president getting reelected with it as a major part of his platform. Kremer shot back, “Had the American people known all this negative stuff that’s coming out now, I think that the results of the last election would have been different.”

Kremer insisted the law was “shoved down our throats” and even if Obama was reelected, so was the Republican house. She concluded, “Harry Reid wants a shutdown because he believes it’s a political victory for the Democrats in 2014.”
