The Daily Show Rips ‘Batsh*t Crazy’ Ben Carson for Shooting Remarks

Trevor Noah kicked off tonight’s Daily Show going after Ben Carson––whom Noah described as Donald Trump without the charisma––for his comments about how hostages should try charging gunmen so that less people get shot.

Noah was confused by Carson’s implication that a hostage that does nothing is basically “letting him shoot you,” saying the only scenario this would work in is during a zombie attack.

Correspondent Desi Lydic, however, argued that Carson came up with the obvious solution despite being “batshit crazy.”

She explained, “Guns don’t kill people, people shot by guns who don’t rush the guy shooting them kill people.”
