‘The Male Body Is Not A Joke!’ John Cena Goes Fully Nude At Oscars In Shy Streaker Bit

John Cena went fully nude on the Oscars stage while presenting the award for this year’s best costume design to the movie Poor Things.

The skit was done to remember some of the wildest moments in the history of the Academy Awards, such as when a nude man ran onto the stage in 1974 while David Niven was introducing Elizabeth Taylor.

Host Jimmy Kimmel started the joke by replaying the 46th Oscars award clip before adding, “Can you imagine if a nude man ran across the stage today?”

After a brief pause, Kimmel then asks the audience again, “I said, can you imagine if a nude man ran across the stage today? Wouldn’t that be crazy?” The moment was clearly set up for a streaker to run across the stage while Kimmel was on camera.

A shirtless Cena then pops his head out from around the corner of the stage, begging Kimmel to talk with him.

“I changed my mind. I don’t want to do the streaker bit,” Cena said to Kimmel in hushed tone. “I just don’t feel right about it. It’s an elegant event, you know, you should feel shame right now for suggesting such a tasteless joke.”

After a back-and-forth with the former WWE wrestler, Kimmel tells Cena that streaking across the stage would be funny, and Cena snapped back, “The male body is not a joke!”

Kimmel eventually convinces Cena to come out of the corner by giving him an envelope to cover his genitals. Cena slowly shimmies across the stage to the microphone with the large envelope covering his privates while the audience roars with laughter.

After the camera pans away during the presentation of the nominee’s list for best costume design, Cena reappears wearing a toga before handing the award to the cast of Poor Things.

Since he couldn’t move the envelope to open it, there was a quick cut, and he reappeared wearing a curtain-like golden toga.
