Thursday Cable Ratings: CNN’s Sixties Beats Maddow in Demo and Total

The “British Invasion” episode of CNN’s The Sixties beat MSNBC’s The Rachel Maddow Show in both the 25-54 demo and total viewers Thursday night during the 9 p.m. time slot. The CNN show had 243K in the demo and 914K total viewers, making it the highest-rated show on the network. With 168K in the demo and 849K total, Rachel Maddow also had the highest ratings in her network, but her show placed third for the hour.

The Sixties helped CNN beat MSNBC in the primetime demo for the night, but MSNBC remained on top in total viewers. Fox News’ The Kelly File was #1 at 9 p.m. in both categories with 429K in the demo and 2.553M total viewers.
