Trump Has Asked About Top Secret Clearance for His Children, Reports Say

New reports tonight say that Donald Trump is asking about getting top secret security clearance for his children.

A CBS News correspondent tweeted this out earlier tonight:

.@realDonaldTrump team has asked @WhiteHouse how his children could receive top secret security clearances – details on @CBSEveningNews

And then CNN independently reported the same thing, that Trump is requesting clearance for his adult children (that excludes Barron, before you start wondering) and his son-in-law Jared Kushner.

Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump, and Donald Trump Jr. are expected to run all Trump businesses in a blind trust, but this news comes on the heels of them being named to their father’s presidential transition team.

Per @MitchellReports, NBC News confirms Trump has asked abt security clearances for his kids. After inaugural, he could clear them himself.
