Trump Says His Team Is Fully Cooperating With Mueller: ‘Nobody Has Ever Been More Transparent’

President Trump once again teed off on the Mueller probe by repeatedly saying “no collusion” and saying this is all a Democratic “hoax.”

He said the real collusion came from the Democrats before getting onto how cooperative he and his people have been with the special counsel.

The President said they’ve sent a “tremendous amount of paper”––estimating 1.4 million pages of documents in total––and expressed that this is “hopefully coming to the end” because it’s “a bad thing for our country.”

He even bragged, “As far as the investigation, nobody has ever been more transparent that I have instructed our lawyers––be totally transparent.”

Trump finally got onto the actual question that was asked––whether he’s concluded it’s “not worth the political fallout” to fire Mueller or Rod Rosenstein:

“As far as the two gentlemen you told me about, they have been saying I am going to get rid of them for the last three months. Four months, five months. And they’re still here. So we want to get the investigation over with, done with. Put it behind us.”

In the past few months, there have been two reports that Trump wanted to fire Mueller but was talked out of it.
