Trump Spox: No Way Lewandowski Grabbed Michelle Fields, Maybe It Was Another Reporter

Donald Trump spokeswoman Katrina Pierson insisted during a Fox Business Network interview earlier tonight that campaign manager Corey Lewandowski absolutely did not assault a Breitbart reporter, despite at least one other reporter witnessing this.

Anchor Charles Payne asked Pierson about the accusation, and Pierson dismissively said, “This did not happen. Corey Lewandowski would never have done anything like that.”

She remarked upon the “very concerning and suspicious” way the allegation spread, and argued that there’s always a giant swarm of reporters swatting at each other at every Trump event.

However, that all being said, Pierson said Breitbart is absolutely right to “stand by their reporter” because “someone probably did grab her.”

But, she said, “I don’t buy the fact that it was Corey Lewandowski,” suggesting that it was another reporter in the swarm.
