Van Jones Goes Off on Pence: He Was Trying to ‘Invent a Running Mate!’

CNN’s Van Jones went off on Mike Pence tonight for engaging in a series of lies during the debate.

He admitted that it was bad for Tim Kaine to keep interrupting, but called that a “small sin” compared to Pence’s “larger sin” of lying about things that Donald Trump has said.

He said that what Pence did was “invent a running mate” and just “lie” about what Trump believes in. Jones predicted that the fact-checks on Pence’s statements will flatten out whatever gains he made tonight.

Trump supporter Kayleigh McEnany objected and Jones said he’d be happy to run down the list.
