Vladimir Putin Will Sit Down for CNBC Interview Friday Morning

The NBC family scored two big scoops in one day. In addition to Brian Williams getting an exclusive interview with Edward Snowden (Snowden’s first with an American TV anchor), CNBC anchor Geoff Cutmore will interview none other than Russian President Vladimir Putin tomorrow.

Cutmore will speak with Putin at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, according to CNBC, and the interview will air tomorrow morning on the cable financial news network.

Putin’s last big interview on American television was with ABC News, but that was in January, before Russia hosted the Winter Olympics. And, you know, before a little something called Ukraine became international news.
