Wait, What? Nancy Grace Takes Over as HLN Morning Show Host
So this was probably an April Fools’ joke, right? Yes. Thankfully, it was.
HLN began the April 1st madness by announcing the “BOMBSHELL” that Nancy Grace would take over as the network’s Morning Express host. That would mean six hours of Grace every morning. Yes, that Nancy Grace.
The 7 a.m. ET hour of Express opened with Grace seated at the desk, telling viewers, “Ding dong the witch is gone,” mocking “former” host Robin Meade‘s over-reliance on lipgloss and collection of barbecue sauce. She read the news, did a few news segments, and finally revealed that this was all some terrible nightmare cooked up by the network (as if it weren’t obvious).
When Meade joined Grace at the desk to reveal the “joke,” the pair read off several surprised Twitter reactions, similar to these:
@HLNTV @NancyGraceHLN @MorningExp omg I love Nancy but I was like I can't wake up to her! Lol nice one!!! Totally got me ;-)

Yes, but the thought will still haunt our dreams for days to come.
