WATCH LIVE: The James Comey Interview

After a year’s worth of anticipation, fired FBI director James Comey’s first interview is set to air this Sunday night, and it’s expected to be a bombshell.

Comey sat down with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos for a 20/20 episode, his first television appearance kicking off a media blitz for the release of his autobiography A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership.

The book details Comey’s illustrious career at the FBI up until his May 9, 2017 firing by President Donald Trump — including juicy revelations from his conversations with the president about topics ranging from the Russia investigation to the possible existence of a “pee tape.”

ABC has released a few snippets of the interview, and if they’re any indication, the full episode is a must-watch. In one, Comey said he could not say for certain that the Russians don’t possess a “pee tape.” In another, he confessed that his assumption Hillary Clinton would win influenced his decision to announce the re-opening of her investigation.

The interview will air Sunday night on ABC at 10 p.m. EST. If you have a cable subscription, you can watch the interview on the ABC Go website. Don’t fear if you have no access — Mediaite will be providing coverage, videos and reaction all night long.
