WATCH: Skidding Car Nearly Crashes Into NBC Storm Reporter

With today’s potentially historic Winter storm comes the hoards of television reporters forced to stand out in the freezing snow to show viewers just how bad it is out there. But things almost turned tragic on Monday night when WNBC’s Stacey Bell was standing on the side of the road on Long Island and was nearly taken out by an out-of-control car.

The Huffington Post’s Ethan Klapper posted a Vine video of the moment Monday evening:

Bell was apparently unaware of the close call happening directly behind her, but the NBC anchors were clearly a bit unnerved, telling all involved, “Let’s try to keep it safe out there.”

quite a scene behind her there. not sure if that was sliding or spinning or intentional. >> try to keep it safe.
