WATCH: South Park Trolls Trump’s DC Takeover in Latest Episode
The tech industry, ICE, and President Donald Trump’s crime crackdown in Washington, D.C. were the targets of South Park’s latest episode Wednesday.
In the episode, character Stan Marsh tries to pivot from his cannabis business after his farm is raided and cleared out by ICE agents. Joined by the sole remaining employee — the talking towel named Towelie — Stan becomes addicted to ketamine while trying to turn the company into an aimless tech company. This includes Stan recording commercials and hosting press conferences where he simply fires off popular buzzwords and phrases with no real direction for the company.
At one point in the episode, Stan states that they need to convince Trump to legalize marijuana to allow the country to expand. To do this, he sends Towelie to Washington, D.C.
Before heading to the White House, Towelie walks around the city visiting various monuments, all of them occupied by hundreds of National Guard troops.
“Oh wow, Union Station!” Towelie said while surrounded by troops at the train station.
“Wow, the Supreme Court!” Towelie said as he looked at the court building guarded by troops and a tank.
The Washington Monument featured more troops and a tank submerged in the Reflecting Pool. Multiple monuments of past presidents — including the Lincoln Memorial — also appeared with Trump’s face instead of the president that had been memorialized.
