Wednesday Cable Ratings: CNN’s Blitzer Last in Demo for All of Primetime Cable News

With just 48K viewers in the 25-54 demo during the 5 p.m. hour, CNN’s The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer was the lowest-rated show across all of cable news Wednesday evening. Wolf Blitzer’s show came in last place in its time slot, behind Fox News’ The Five (251K), HLN’s Forensic Files (79K) and MSNBC’s The Ed Show (66K). It surely could not have helped Blitzer that “The Lead” in from Jake Tapper was a lowly 21 in the demo.

In total viewers, CNN’s 5 p.m. hour averaged 381K, putting it in third place for the time slot. The Five was #1 with 1.931M, followed by The Ed Show with 475K. Forensic Files was last with 181K.
